Reflective Practice
I believe engaging with reflective practices is a vital and central part of professional development. Consistently engaging with reflection's on units of learning, lesson plans, formative and summative assessment strategies informs professional practice and assists in developing a higher quality of teaching. Through employing Brookfield's Model of Reflection, as I employed the four lenses in my placement reflections, can assist in informing me of my own gaps in knowledge and areas to improve upon. The Teaching Councils Cosán framework also calls upon teachers to participate in reflective practice to assess their practice to ensure professional growth. In order to develop best practices, be an effective teacher I must engage with an ongoing cycles of action and reflection. Using collaborative sessions such as SLARs, communities of practice and self assessment can also help to expand and inform reflections on my teaching practice.

SP 2 - Padlet
My padlet clearly shows through visual documentation and written statements a critical reflection of each unit of learning. It demonstrates my engagement with reflective practices and an ability to review lesson plans and units of learning to inform and develop my practice going forward.
